Fried chicken (and fried pork) are so juicy and light, not oily whatsoever--oxymoron for fried food I know, and their sauce for it packs so much sweet/sour/savory flavors. Their omelet rice uses perilla leaves too!

OK, so this place is great, but it highly depends on what you order. You can't go wrong with the jjajangmyeon or the jjampong. Huge bowls and incredibly cheap. I'm pretty sure the jjajangmyeon is below $10, which is absolutely crazy in this economy. I would advise against the tang soo yook. It was good, but given how expensive it was, it just wasn't worth it. Seems like a family-owned restaurant. Always the same lady working the store. The service and ambiance isn't incredibly amazing, but who cares lol. It feels more like a takeout place anyway

We have ordered family style take out on multiple occasions - it is our go-to for the area! The jeng-ban jjajangmyun (sautéed already in the black soybean sauce with seafood) is soooo good!! The tang soo yook is serviceable, but sometimes fried too hard. The spicy chicken and spicy shrimp fry (kkam poong gi) is alright too. The jjajangmyun and jjamppong are really the stars of this local joint.

the tang soo yook portion was much smaller than what i'm used to, but the food came out fairly quick. they don't play any music and it's no frills for sure but the lady is attentive and helpful. the jjajang myun and jjampong were both solid pics. i'd def go back!

One of the Best jjajangmeon place we ever visited !! Highly recommend ganjjajang, which is more concentrated/ less diluted version of jjajang noodle. Vegetables were perfectly cooked with nice crunch to it. Tangsooyuk was VEEY DELICIOUS as well, the meat was so soft ! They serve the sauce on the side, so you can pour it yourself. It was perfect for us. Only downside is that they do not offer double serving of noodles () I highly recommend this place
